Welcome Letter

Thank-you to all our new and returning players, we are excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 Indoor Flag Football League! Please find important information about the season below:

Rosters: Rosters have been sent out. Team adjustments may occur to accommodate late registrations and best place each participant. If a change is made that affects your registration, you will be emailed with the new information. Thank you in advance for understanding if we need to move your player!

Special Requests: We did our best to grant every request to the best of our ability. We thank you for your understanding that requests are not a guarantee and that the happiness of all our players is always a top priority.

Schedule: The Master Schedule, including all the dates (sessions include a practice followed by a game) can be viewed on our website. www.ciffl.ca under the Schedule tab.

Dashboard: To see your team’s schedule and a list of your teammates, log into your account online or on the app. Navigate to the “Dashboard” then click on your team’s name (under Role/Team).

Uniform Handout: At your first game/practice session, you should show up 25-30 minutes early and will be assigned your jersey / belt and flags. If you are unable to attend the first session, don’t worry: Your coach will have a jersey ready for when you next attend.

Uniform Return/Replacement: Uniforms will need to be returned at the last session you attend. If you miss this session unexpectedly, you can contact us for drop off locations. Missing, lost, stolen or unreturned uniforms are subject to replacement fees: Jersey: $85, Flags $15.

Equipment: For safety reasons, we require all participants to wear pants (bottoms) with NO POCKETS. We appreciate your cooperation with this requirement, if pockets are present, fingers can become caught when reaching for a flag and injuries DO occur. We also recommend rubber soccer or football cleats as they help with traction, a water bottle, and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Weather: We play in cold weather. Participation is always at the parent's discretion. Sessions will only be cancelled if unsafe conditions exist.

Attendance: No need to let the coach know if you can’t attend, we have flexible attendance and understand that players may miss sessions due to scheduling conflicts.

Rules: Rules of the game, league rules and code of conduct can be found on our website under the “Regulations” tab.

Inclusivity: We welcome all players without discrimination, valuing inclusivity and safety. Teams may have members ranging from beginners to elite players. Our focus is on recreation, personal growth, and having fun. Negative behavior, such as teasing, will be addressed and should be reported to the coach if unseen. We expect all players to foster a supportive environment for their peers.

Shouldice Dome Code of Conduct: To ensure another successful season, we ask everyone to review and abide by the Shouldice Dome Code of Conduct below. Your conduct directly impacts our access to quality fields and adherence to these guidelines is vital.
